Terms of use

What PulseNet is, what it records, and the law that applies.

Last updated 14 September 2026

What this is

MSRX PulseNet is a free network dashboard: a speed test, a set of diagnostic tools and an AI copilot. There is no account, no fee and no subscription.

Using it means accepting these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use it.

Who you are agreeing with

MSRX PulseNet is operated by Mrinal Singh Raja, an individual, publishing under the name "MSRX". MSRX is a brand name, not a registered company, and nothing here should be read as implying a company behind it.

In these terms "we", "us", "our" and "MSRX" mean Mrinal Singh Raja. "You" means the person using MSRX PulseNet. Written notice reaches us at mrinalsinghraja@gmail.com.

What a speed test records

When you run a speed test, the result is saved so the dashboard can show a history and the AI copilot can comment on trends. What is saved is the measurement — download, upload, latency, jitter, packet loss and the derived score — together with your ISP's name, a city-level location and a connection type.

Your IP address is shown to you on the speed-test page, because it is useful to see. It is not stored. Until 10 September 2026 it was, and the stored addresses have since been erased.

Saved results are not tied to an account, a cookie or a device identifier, so there is nothing linking one result to another or to you. They are deleted automatically after 90 days.

The history is public. Anyone can read the recent results, including the ISP and city labels. Do not run a test you would not want listed there.

Monitors are shared, not yours

There are no accounts on this site, so an uptime monitor you add is visible to everyone and can be deleted by anyone. It is a shared scratchpad, not private storage.

Do not enter an internal hostname, a staging URL or anything you would not publish. Treat anything you add as public the moment you add it.

Only probe what you are entitled to probe

The tools here perform DNS lookups, reachability checks and similar queries against hosts you name. Running them against infrastructure you neither own nor have permission to test can be unlawful, and can be treated as unauthorised access regardless of intent.

You are responsible for having that permission. Do not use these tools to scan, enumerate or monitor somebody else's systems.

A measurement is a sample, not a verdict

A browser-based speed test measures one path, from your device to one server, over a few seconds, through whatever else your network was doing at the time. It is a useful indication and it is not evidence.

Do not use a result from this site as proof in a dispute with your internet provider. Their contractual measurement, taken their way, is the one that will count.

The AI copilot

The copilot is a large language model. It is given your recent measurements and your question, and both are sent to Groq, our model provider, to produce an answer. It writes confidently whether or not it is right, and it can misread a number or invent a cause.

Do not put personal or confidential information into it, and check anything it tells you before acting on it.

What you may not do

  • Use MSRX PulseNet for anything unlawful, or to infringe somebody else's rights.
  • Probe, scan or monitor hosts you do not own or have written permission to test.
  • Attempt to break, overload or circumvent any limit, security control or rate limit.
  • Use automated means to flood the speed test or the tools, or to extract the public history at scale.

No warranty, and the limit of what we owe

To the fullest extent the law allows, the service is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, nor for lost profits or lost data, nor for any decision taken on the basis of a measurement, arising from your use of MSRX PulseNet.

Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, our total aggregate liability for all claims is limited to one thousand Indian rupees (₹1,000). Nothing here excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded under Indian law.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka, India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of them.

If you use the service as a consumer elsewhere, this does not remove rights your local law gives you that cannot be removed by agreement. If any part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.

Changes

Material changes move the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the service after that means accepting the revised terms.
